These fabulous geese are reared to the Higher Fingle award winning standards. A limited number are being sold this year under the Duchy Originals Label where the profits go to the Princes Foundation.
Our Geese are grass and corn
fed and have firm succulent meat that simply oozes flavour, perfect for a
traditional Christmas treat.
Goose weight includes
goose, fat and giblets.
A 5kg goose will feed six people and is available for christmas delivery only

Cooking Instructions
Please note these instructions are for an unstuffed
goose. For fan assisted ovens please refer to your user manual. Preheat the
oven to 180oC. Remove giblets from cavity of bird. Wash the bird and
place in a roasting tray. Cover the bird with foil. The bird must cook for 15
mins per 450g. Remove foil for the last 30minutes. Leave to stand for 10
minutes.
Suitable for home freezing.
This goose may be frozen, but for best results keep
refrigerated. If required freeze on day of purchase. Use within one month.
Defrost thoroughly before use. Keep refrigerated 00C to +40C.
Defrosting instructions:
Store in a cool room <150C
Defrosting time scales:4.5kg 24 hours, 5-6kg
